It was the worst experience I have ever had at Little Caesars. I started driving to the store 9:34pm and called them to place the order for a pepperoni pizza and sausage pizza.
I called them 7 times and they never picked up the phone. I walked into the store and I was not greeted and there were no customers but the 2 cashiers up in the front end. I said hi to the cashiers Carson and Ruby and Carson interrupted to only respond with, "I can't take your order until she is done counting the drawer". I understood and waited.
When Carson takes my order he explains the hot n ready pepperoni pizza is ready but it would take time for the sausage pizza to come out. He charged me and the receipt shows this was at 9:45pm. He didn't give me the receipt or asked if I wanted it. He crumpled up the receipt and tossed it.
Then I requested 3 cheesy jalapeno dips. I waited in the lobby with my daughter. During that time a Hispanic man walks in to pick up his order and they ask for his name and receipt to give him his pizzas. Carson's attitude towards the man was very nasty and discriminatory.
Ruby is talking to Carson and is getting ready to leave to go home. I wanted to prove my theory if maybe there was something wrong with the phone line. I called the store while I was in the lobby at 9:49pm and both Ruby and Carson were standing within 3 feet away from the phone. Ruby tells Carson, "Don't answer it because we are near closing time." Carson decides not to answer and lets it ring until it disconnected me.
She walks out with a pizza in her hand and drink that she grabbed from the refrigerator in the lobby and out the door she goes. Another Hispanic man walks in and places the order. Carson charges him and the customer pays in cash. He again had the nasty and discriminatory look towards him.
At about 9:51pm, a white man walks in and wishes to place the order for 2 pizzas. He asked what was ready and the girl working in the back tells him what pizzas were in the oven/warmer. he pulled out his wallet and was waiting for a total. She is about to charge him but Carson tells her to just give him the pizzas and on top of that gave him a 3rd pizza for free.
His demeaner was very different with him and its sad that my daughter had to witness how differently we were treated for being Hispanic. Once the white man leaves I ask Carson for a print out of the receipt. He didn't respond but I reminded him he had crumpled up the receipt when it was printed at 9:45pm. He had the audacity to blame it was Ruby who threw away the receipt.
This was around 9:53pm. I looked at the receipt to look for a his name. He then walked to the back and left the front unattended. The girl comes to hand over my pizza and tells me have a nice night.
She puts it on the counter and slides it over. I stand waiting to get the other pizza which was in the warmer/pizzaoven. When I ask for it, Carson goes "Oh yeah, can't forget that one." He grabs both pizza boxes and tosses them on the counter like if they had germs with a disgusted look on his face. I again reminded him I had asked him for 3 cheesy jalapeno dips and again drops them on top of the pizza boxes like if they were dirty.
I grab the order and asked if his name was Carson and he proceeded with asking why I wanted to know. I answered I needed to know and make sure who I dealt with that moment. I still wished him a good night and he was very arrogant and disgusted with my response. When I get home, the sausage pizza wasn't sliced all the way.
away. I'm very disappointed
