Little Caesars - Not exactly the pizza I was expecting to look back at me when I opened the box.
Update, as of August 3, 2018, I've heard absolutely nothing from Little Caesars. Not eating any Little Caesars until they choose to make things right.
It's no wonder they didn't want anybody to open the box, lol. Yeah, I get it .
. . health reasons and all that and some people do need to be reminded. I'm going to accept some responsibility for this disappointment as I didn't have my glasses with me but then again, the box didn't specify anything other than "3 meat treat" which I didn't see until I'd walked back to my hotel room and put my glasses on.
I don't know what the third meat might have been other than invisible because all I could see was pepperoni and something that looked like ground cat food. Perhaps I should be grateful that third one was invisible. Other than pepperoni, I don't usually eat meat--although at my age, I hear cat food is the least costly meat of choice. I'd have just went ahead and bit the bullet and not complained to myself too much but I couldn't let go of what I'm assuming was supposed to be the crust which, in my defense, wasn't designated as being practically non-existent on the box.
Matzo for the 4th of July? . . .
perhaps, I'm just uninformed. To say I was rather disappointed is an understatement as I LOVE! LOVE! Little Caesars and the fact that it was conveniently right next door to the hotel I'd decided to hole up at for the 4th of July holiday and got up and dressed and ventured out into the world on foot vs having one of those other lesser loved pizza places deliver direct to my door just adds to the unfortunate experience.
It's a good thing coffee and other snacks were involved or the entire 800 foot or so walk may have not been worth getting out of my jammies and putting on my flip-flops for. I plan on continuing to get my Pizza! Pizza! fix but compare the images of today's experience to my usual one (lower right hand photo) which is at a location about 3 miles away.
Granted today's location was an "express" location inside a gas station but still. Did I mention that my purchase was made at 11:58am and it was cold! cold!? Perhaps expecting a basic hot Hot n Ready pizza was too much for this time of the morning.
Believe me, next time, I'm looking in the damned box. ;)
